No matter what brought it on, a photo session is almost always in the middle of a lot of excitement, busy-ness, and at least a little stress. My job is to give you the fun stuff, and I'll take the stressful stuff. I only take as many clients as I can take really good care of, so here's what that looks like.
After you have read through everything, decided this is a good match, and booked your date, I will reach out to you to set up an in-person consultation in my office, your home, or wherever is convenient for you. The consultation is a blast, and if at all possible, both the senior and at least one parent should be there. We're going to go through location ideas, set a date, talk about clothing, props, what you love, what you hate, what you need to order, and see where our creativity takes us. I love not-your-ordinary senior picture ideas, so don't hold back! I'll also answer your questions, and we'll start to get to know each other, which makes the day of the shoot way more relaxed.
Let's make magic, people. We will meet at your shoot location and dive right in. We'll have plenty of time, and I pay attention to the light, not a watch, so we take the time we need. For some clients, 45 minutes is all they have to give, so we wrap it up in 45 minutes. For other clients, once they hit their stride, they can go for 2 hours or more, so we do that. Your job is to enjoy the experience, full stop.
About 2 weeks after your shoot, you'll have your reveal and ordering session. This is when you get to see a wall full of prints from your session, look through your entire gallery on a very large screen, and start choosing which ones you have to have. I offer very high quality prints, lots of wall art choices, beautiful heirloom-quality albums and folio boxes, and other hand-picked products. Every single client finds something that is a perfect fit. Please bring all decision-makers along.
You will place your order at the reveal and pay for it in full, half, or installments. I will put your order in right away because if you're like me, you hate waiting! As soon as your order arrives at my office, I look everything over to make sure it's perfect, and I'll call you to arrange for delivery.
Then we start missing each other because it was such a great time!
